AC–DC
Alternating current input to regulated direct current output. The unit below is the three-phase example; other input configurations are built to the duty.
Power Conversion
Aircraft and ground power conversion designed, built and tested in-house — AC-DC and DC-DC across a wide output range, for platforms where the unit has to be light before it is anything else.
01The range
Both directions of power conversion, built to the duty rather than picked from a shelf.
Alternating current input to regulated direct current output. The unit below is the three-phase example; other input configurations are built to the duty.
Direct current input to a different regulated direct current output, at the voltage and current the application calls for.
02Featured unit
The unit below is our own design and manufacture, photographed on our bench. Three-phase AC in, 28 V DC out at 45 A, in an aluminium enclosure with an integral finned heatsink — 850 grams.
03Not yet published
The figures above are what we publish today. A converter is specified against a duty, not a datasheet line, so the rest is issued per enquiry.
Input voltage window and frequency range, regulation, ripple, efficiency, isolation, protection behaviour and derating curves for the unit under discussion.
Operating and storage temperature, cooling requirement, and any environmental qualification the specific unit has been through. Stated per unit — we do not carry a blanket claim across the range.
Give us the input, the output, the envelope and the mass budget. AC-DC or DC-DC, we design to the duty rather than fitting you to a stock part.
The Smart-GPU on Products & Procurement is supplied through an OEM agreement — it is not built here.
Input, output, envelope, mass budget. We come back with a specification and a build route.
