Both directions of power conversion, built to the duty rather than picked from a shelf.

AC–DC

Alternating current input to regulated direct current output. The unit below is the three-phase example; other input configurations are built to the duty.

DC–DC

Direct current input to a different regulated direct current output, at the voltage and current the application calls for.
